In the first week of this 2-part special, Kevin Lyman, a powerhouse in the music industry, joins Joleen to talk about the root of his love for music. Growing up in Claremont, California with hippies and punk rockers, Kevin established his “challenge the status quo” motto early on in life and carried it with him into the music industry. After college, he fell in love with live entertainment and went into promoting, throwing local LA shows and tours for bands like Jane’s Addiction and 9 Inch Nails.
